WA WA Shriners - Stop Burn Injuries (SBI) Coordinator
WA WA Shriners is in need of an SBI coordinator in order to continue on with the SBI school education program. This is a program where the coordinator and or his committee members attend schools throughout the province and deliver education on preventing burn injuries. The program is delivered to students from kindergarten to grade five and is one hour in duration. This is arranged through the school principal. Local volunteer fire fighters also attend when available.
Travel is involved in this position and mileage reimbursement is provided. Hotel expenses are provided with permission from the recorder or Potentate.
This is not a Divan position, but, is a divan committee and the coordinator may be asked to attend Divan meetings and Stated Sessions. A copy of the Terms of Reference is available upon request.
SBI Coordinator training will be provided by input from former coordinators. The coordinator will be responsible for forming his committee to assist in delivering this training.
The Noble who fills this position will report to the Potentate and the Divan.
