Changing Children's Lives
Greetings Nobles, Ladies, and Friends
I would like to thank all of you from the bottom of my heart for entrusting the leadership of our great temple to my care. I am truly honored to have this opportunity and I will do the best job that I can to honor those who have served in front of me and to prepare those who will follow in the role of Potentate. To all of you who attended the AGM and the banquet, I thank you for the support of our new Divan. I would also like to thank all of those who contributed to the planning and preparation of the day's activities, it was truly a special day for all of us. Lady Pam and I have chosen the theme "Changing Children's Lives" for our year of service. We both feel that this best describes what is that we all do as Shriners and ladies. It is our sincere hope that we can all continue our efforts in fundraising and fellowship well into the future. By working together with one common goal of making lives better for children, we can all hold our heads up high and be proud to be part of such a wonderful philanthropy. I know that each one of you will continue to contribute to our cause in any way that you can and that together we will make a difference in the world. Lady Pam has created the theme "Rise and Shrine" for the year with the intentions of raising awareness and also to raise funds to be donated on behalf of our temple to the research and development team at the Montreal hospital. Please watch for further information on her program during the year. You may also email or call her for information directly. Lady Pam and I look forward to visiting with your clubs during the year and we will always do our best to attend any functions that we can. If you wish to send an invite or check our schedule, please feel free to contact myself or our Recorder at any time. Again, our sincere thank you to all of you for entrusting me with the leadership of the temple. I look forward to a wonderful Shrine year. |
